Research & Development Services

ACM believes that the future fortune of the Company relies largely on the results of R&D. It is the key factor for further contribution to the progress of the agriculture sector to meet future challenges of greater user & environment safety and changing markets.

At our Selama Research Centre, a wide range of tropical crops such as primary commodities - oil palm, rubber and cash crops - vegetables, fruit trees, potted plants are planted for bio efficacy evaluations of new chemicals, fertilizers and improved formulae.

Other areas of research and activities include :-
- Cultivation of novel crops and tissue culture ;
- Development of hi-efficiency applicators and farm equipment;
- Training centre for employees, visitors, undergraduates, etc ;
- Exchange programme with overseas counterparts;
- Contract screening of coded compounds for overseas suppliers
It is through all the above activities that put ACM at the forefront of the industry. ACM allocates 25% of her total workforce for R&D.
